Virgil Abloh, Kanye West’s long time friend and creative consultant was recently interviewed for a feature in Chicago Magazine. He was asked about his style preferences and work with Kanye and G.O.O.D. Music. Virgil has been with Ye’ since the beginning but only recently has he become a recognized part of Yeezy’s entourage.
Givenchy, Balmain, Balenciaga, etc. Nothing surprising there.
This is some in-studio footage of B-I-G collaborating with Chris Brown for his mixtape, In My Zone 2. While the mixtape was trash, I was still bumping “Shit God Damn” when I first heard it. And of course Chris Brown is inspired biting the hell out of Big Sean’s whole swag, from the TISA to the Super’s…smh.
Weezy rockin’ some Christian Louboutin Sneakers, his token Marc Jacobs Camo Shorts, a BBC New Era, and a Neiman-Marcus crewneck courtside at a Heat game (Probably losing. Something like this…haha).
Dope Steez.
This collaboration was kinda an absurd thought a couple months back when the rumors first surfaced. Lanvin, being a high-end iconic brand, has taken simplistic H&M formal wear, and turned it into runway worthy products. While Lanvin suits may cost up to six thousand dollars, the Lanvin x H&M lines range from $24 - $240 tops! H&M is a store that I probably haven’t shopped at for a couple years now (based on the fact that everyone shops there), but with this line releasing on November 20th, I may have to hit it up. The swag in this collection is so DOPE.
ROSEWOOOOOOOODDDD!!!
Yeezy x Red Pink Blazer x Croc Skin Sneakers
DOPENESS.
This is a quick video of footage of the new J.Crew store on Madison Ave. in NYC. I’m not really a J.Crew connoisseur, but I do appreciate the subtle and simplistic style that their clothing offers. You really can’t go wrong shopping at J.Crew, most of their clothing is generally wearable. They have perfected clean cut casual look, while also offering a vast amount of tailored looks and formal wear.
The store seems to have a vintage theme and looks mad fresh. If you’re in NYC you should check it out…
Ibn Jasper - Ill Roots Profile (Video)
A name you may have heard or a face you may have seen, Ibn Jasper is one of those unique individuals that manages to always stay on top of things at his own pace. Most known for his relationship with Kanye West, many people credit Ibn as one of the most talented barbers in the game.
