Mike Posner - Bow Chicka Wow Wow (Remix) (Feat. Weezy)
Like I suspected, Weezy and Mike ended up recording a lil something. It’s pretty dope that Posner and Weezy linked up on this track, but I am still not feeling this song, nor his album. Mike Posner had such a dope new sound on his first mixtape (somewhat on his second), and I am not excited about his music now as I was about four years ago when I first listened to A Matter of Time. Hopefully his future releases will be more intriguing than his recent material..

These are some pretty funny visuals for “Ambiguous” off Big Sean’s Finally Famous Vol. 4 mixtape which features his hommie Mike Posner and mixtape DJ Clinton Sparks. Of course Sean is TISA’d out and still rocking the pocket squares heavy.
This video also has a random cameo by Far East Movement at the end.

Big Sean - Finally Famous Vol. 3: B.I.G.
Such a good way to end the summer! This is the highly anticipated third mixtape by Big Sean, hosted by Don Cannon, that has been advertised since the winter. Although I heard a bunch of songs like “Made”, “Bullshittin”, “Supa Dupa Lemonade”, and “High Rise” over the past few months, this mixtape has some new BIG material that is crazy dope! The new “Fat Raps (Remix)” featuring Chip tha Rip, Dom Kennedy, and more is so crazy. Sean has a new verse that definitely shits on the original version. Another track on FF Vol. 3 that I was really bumpin’ to was “Got 5 On It” with Curren$y and Chip. It is a classic instrumental, and the three of them flow on it perfect. A Weed Anthem. He performed this song at “Rock the Bellz” in the Bay Area (BELOW). Other sick tracks on the mixtape feature artists such as Chiddy Bang (produced by Xaphoon Jones), Tyga, Mike Posner, and FF artist SAYITAINTTONE. Overall this mixtape bangs hard, and it is probably the second biggest drop this summer, second to Wale’s More About Nothing…

Mike Posner - Please Don’t Go
This is a new track off 31 Minutes to Takeoff, that most Mike Posner fans have heard by now. It was featured as the intro song to his Youtube show “On Foot Out The Door”. His camp did a crazy good job at keeping the song “un-leaked”, as it was impossible to find this song until now. It sounds really good, just as it did before, but it is nice to finally have access to the FULL song, and not just a 30 second snippet….

This is the music video for Mike Posner’s first single “Cooler Than Me”. Its pretty dope. I’m glad Mike is now seeing some of the backing and financial support from Atlantic Records. This is the official start of his mainstream career. He has been becoming less and less “underground” even before he was signed to a major. I’m hoping that his sound stays consistent and that he doesn’t start making music to appeal the masses instead of sticking to his own self-made genre…

Memories Made…
Just saw Mike Posner last night at Gramercy Theatre in NY. We got there OD early and actually got to meet him. It was so sick. And then during the show we were stagefront. Two wack ass artists opened, but Chiddy Bang performed and ripped the stage. I just started listening to them recently, but they are definitely beast as hell.
Mike came out and tore up the stage. The crowd was goin insane, and he was mixing up some of his songs on his MPC. His performance was crazy.
The concert was crazier than I expected and I def got mad love for Chiddy Bang ( Click the link to download the mixtape ) after seeing them perform live. They are formerly Drexel students, and mixtape is fuckin crack, and as a college student I can relate to most of the shit they rap about.

Mike Posner “One Foot Out The Door” Episode 8: NYC-ACL-NYC
Mike gets up at 3AM the morning after opening for 50 Cent, Wale and Kid Cudi to head to Austin City Limits. The weather fucks up his flight schedule, and he gets to Austin only an hour before his performance. Mike and Sean rip the show and hop on a plane back to NYC to go to a recording studio and make “straight hits” (do the hand motion, GREG!). He does a bunch of other stuff while in NYC, but ends his trip there with a showcase @ SOB’s with Big Sean, Pill, Freddie Gibbs, Camp Lo, Shawn Chrystopher, and others…

Mike Posner “One Foot Out The Door” Episode 7: New York State of Mike
In this episode, he hits up NY to do a photoshoot and some interviews, but the biggest event in this trip was performing @ the “This is 50 Fest” (@ Governors Island, probably one of the biggest concerts in NY this year). If you watched you will probably notice that it is a hood ass concert and there are only like 5 people rockin to his performance. Regardless this was a DOPE episode.
