Cole just dropped the music video for “Daddy’s Little Girl”, a bonus track off of Cole World. Definitely one of the better tracks on the album.
Cole World: The Sideline Story drops on Tuesday (September 27th).
J. Cole — Cosmic Kev Freestyle
Cole World leaked last night, and the verdict is still out. In the meanwhile, take a look/listen to a dope ass freestyle Cole spit on the Cosmic Kev show in Philly about a week ago, over two of the hottest beats of the year.
Eh. All I can say, is that this video’s content is just as rich as the song’s lyrics…Chapter 7.
This is yet another, self-produced banger by J. Cole featuring his mentor and boss, Jay-Z. I definitely fuck with this beat, HEAVY, but this is yet another example of Cole compromising the content of his songs in order to sell himself to a desired, BASIC mainstream following. I am mainly disappointed with this song because it is clear that he is attempting to stunt on an “Otis” level, although he has not even released his first album.
Bottom line is that he should focus on making timeless classics, as oppose to radio hits. He is mimicking Watch the Throne’s sound, when he should be striving for Reasonable Doubt’s excellence. He should go listen to “Dumb It Down” and try again.
And as far as Cole x Hov collabos are concerned: “A Star Is Born” > “Mr. Nice Watch”
The third installment of J. Cole’s promotional video grind takes us behind the scenes on his tour with Rihanna and Wale’s “Bad Girls Club” music video shoot.Cole Summer: Episode 3
Nothing too special. Hoping the “Can’t Get Enough” video will be a little more creative/entertaining.
Instead of releasing a mixtape before his debut album, like he originally proposed, Cole released this EP, which includes two new songs, and three previously released/leaked tracks that were scrapped from the album. Expect new material in the form of songs or videos to drop every Sunday until Cole World: The Sideline Story drops on September 27th. #ColeWorldJ. Cole — Any Given Sunday #1 (EP)
Mr. #nodaysoff has taken quite a few days off, but just dropped this track, which features J. Cole, via Twitter. Although Wale is currently working on his sophmore EP, Ambition, and Cole is preparing to drop his debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, this is just a track they dropped for the fans, and will not be on either of their upcoming albums.
Produced by: J. Cole
Seems as if Cole is finally catching on to the Promo/Viral video grind of his peers as he gears up for his upcoming debut release of Cole World: The Sideline Story on September 27th (info via his Twitter, here and here). This first episode follows Cole on tour and is kind of funny, especially his violin flow in the beginning. I’m expecting a bunch more of these throughout the next couple months leading up to his expected release date. #coleworldJ. Cole — Cole Summer Episode 1 (Vlog)
Been fiending for this new Cole ever since he performed it at Bonaroo. Cole produced his ass off on this shit. That Kanye “Workout Plan” sample was so unexpected, but amazing. Probably on my 15th play since I copped it and it is swag in its’ purest form.
J. Cole gives the world an update with a “half Ustream” today.
- Single samples Kanye West - still being cleared now
- Debut album is done. Second album is 70% done
- New mixtape might come out this summer
- 15 songs on the debut album
- Plans to produce for Kendrick Lamar, Wale and Fabolous soon

Been waiting on this J. Cole feature for the Maybach Music Self Made album ever since the track listing leaked. This is the perfect for song for Wale because he runs the sneaker, fitted, and streetwear game in Hip-Hop. Wale kills this shit, and Cole bodies his verse. Of course you can leave it to Meek and Rozay to not know anything about this and rap completely off topic.
M-M-M-M-M-M-M-Mayyyybach Musssiccccc!

Some unreleased Cole from back when he was 16, and going by the rap name “Therapist”. The name is pretty funny, but 16-year-old Cole was spitting some real shit..
